Since this upcoming share at Nobi is taking place on Easter Sunday (April 5, 2015) I will not be able to make it. And apparently a few of our regulars won't be making it either. So I propose (which is not something I take lightly, ask Sandra) we have a second share this month. I can't see myself ever competing with my boy @champ103 and the Gingerman Share, which is undoubtedly the best damn regular share in America. So April 19 at 1pm it is.
Thats how you do it, just put the date down and people will show up if they can. I have not been to Nobi in a while, might make it to this one. It depends on how rowdy I get at the Sleater-Kinney concert the night before, but a little hangover has never stopped me
One of my favorite GMan shares was Mother's Day about 3-4 years ago,we where the only ones in the place and the bartender was looking at us like don't y'all have Mothers. The cool thing about it was our mothers where glad we left the house for a few hours.
Mother's Day shares are great. It gives me a place to be when I feel bad I can't make the close to 1000 mile drive (one way) up to see my parents that day.
