It's been on sale all summer for $11.25 a twelve pack at Happy Harry's. I bet i've been through 10+ cases so far.

Excellent price. Great beer. Just won gold in some competition. Low ABV so you can down a few and quench your thirst....love that beer.

When I was in Muskegon a couple years ago, I remember seeing Schells at the local store. Otherwise, you could try emailing them about distribution. They're pretty good about responding.

I should update...my brother and I recently did another taster....Schell, Town Hall (growler from early June so getting older), Big Wood (growler was three weeks old too), Fair State can..Steel Toe bottle

I don't have the results in front of me but Schell once again came out first....we also came away impressed with Big Wood. Fair State was solid too but more watered down. Town Hall was in the middle and clearly was not as strong as when fresh....Steel Toe was the consensus last place finisher...

Personally I really liked Big Wood and almost had it in my top spot.. i got a lot of vanilla and banana from it...maybe if fresher it would have been

The Steel Toe Hefe is one that I wished they would retire. It has been a few years and it has not gotten any better. It probably sells well though, like Enki Hootenanny so what do I know.

Schell's Hefe is about the only one I have drank at home this summer. About the only packaged one available that you have a slim possibility finding. When I do find it I buy the shit out of it.

Day Block has one of the better Hefes I've had in a long while on tap currently. They call it a Belvarian Hefe due to them having used a combination of both Bavarian Hefe, and Belgian Saison yeasts. It's got a ton of banana with nice hints of lemon in the back.

Enki Hootenanny and Steel Toe Sommer Vice are my two highest-rated Minnesota-brewed hefeweizens (at the other site); well, Sommer Vice is tied with Fair State Hefeweizen for #2. Different strokes... Then again, I've never purchased a bottle of either (I've only had them on tap).

See, I did not like Fair State either. We probably should not share hefeweizens:sunglasses:.
