A tasty brew before the match

    Took a wise native BAer's advice and will be attending the Utrecht - NAC Breda match on 28/4 at 7:45 pm

    Now we need the decent pre-match watering hole to get ourselves properly liquored up to root on Utrecht. Cafe Belgie looks good for beer quality, but might not be the best place to mix with the pre-match crowd.

    Is there anything in the middle? Good crowd, sports atmosphere, good beer? We'll be a group of five.

    Wow, not sure about Utrecht Frank! There are some nice bars there. I will check it tomorrow for you with a guy who lives there! Are you going with Ron?

    Hey Frank,

    I don't think there really is a bar with a great selection where the Utrecht fans hang out.

    On you way from Utrecht Station to Cafe Belgie stop at http://utrecht.cafe-olivier.be/ to get started
    Go to Cafe Belgie for a few beers and walk down to het Ledig Erf (that's a streetname) and hit one of the bars there on your way to the Stadium. During your walk you'll see the Utrecht fans heading towards the stadium. There are no bars in the direct vicinity of the Stadium.

    Too bad I'll be babysitting Jeffo's kid that night so I can't join you.
