Any other BAs attending? We usually have a pretty substantial share prior to the releases at Aardwolf. This time around they are releasing both Brandy and Bourbon Barrel aged El Mariachi. The base beer is an Imperial Spiced Stout that is very good in it's own right!

Sunday, July 31st - Release is at 2 PM.

I am really hoping to make it but have a family function that weekend, so it will be tight for me lol. Such a great base beer, really want to try the BA versions. I was not very prepared for a share during BA EBS release, was hoping to do better this time around if I can make it.

Yea that's what I was expecting. Glad they put a limit on it this year so hopefully it lasts a bit longer.

We never have, it usually works out to a pretty good mix of Stouts, Sours, Barleywines and IPAs.

I remember seeing the bottles at the AB EBS release and thought it was pretty impressive.

I am shooting for 12:30 or a little earlier. Think that's a good time? I was going to bring a big cooler so I can also use it as a seat. Do you think their is any issue with a big cooler?

About 12-1230 is what I'm shooting for. It's gonna be so damn hot! I'll also be using a cooler as a seat. I think most do so i doubt it's an issue

So, i had some of each variant last Sunday, and of course the bottle share was so epic that I barely could make tasting notes. A friend opened a bottle of the Bourbon BA Sunday, and it was really amazing. one of the best, if not the best from Aardwolf so far!

Wish I could have tried that one. Darn. The Mariachi variants I thought were fantastic.

I agree! After about 2 hours in the heat sampling so many beers my palate and I think myself were about wrecked! Must say the bourbon barrrel was my favorite! Just had some Brandy barrel two days ago and it was solid as well but gotta give the nod to the bourbon! Damn good beer!

I thought the flavor a really came out more on the BA and felt the brandy was very smooth. Both were done very well. Aardwolf is doing some great things.
