Aaron: Completed Trades

Wow, I offered Fen Tao 1:1 for Aaron and I got absolute crickets... such is the nature of the trading game I guess...

 

I feel ya, for the sake of full disclosure and to be honest to the spirit of this subforum, it was completed with a long time trading partner that had he asked for 5 Fen Tao I'd trusted him to be fair and deserving and found a way to make that happen for him.

I was offered an Aaron for a PNC. Still thinking about it but I've never had either. Tough call!

 

I would do that. Personal preference here, but I enjoyed Aaron a bit more. Both are delicious though.

 

i traded fen tao + biere de miel and fen tao + la vie for aaron in two trades.

 

Definitely considering it! I wanna try both so bad. Since they're 2 totally different beers, it's a tough call!

 

Having had both, Aaron all day for me. I wouldn't hesitate to make that trade even if I hadn't tried PNC yet.

 

I just traded an Aaron 1:1 for V013.

 

It's not quite 1:1, because there were other beers involved, but the crux of a recent trade I made for Aaron was 1:1 with Remy's Pappy. The full trade was Aaron + single cans of Mastermind and Heady + Lamoille Bretta for Remy's Pappy and '12 and '13 BB4D. I feel very happy with it. I sent off the Aaron, btw.

I'm not trading my other Aaron, but some guy and I made a deal to share my Aaron if he shared his Bramble Rye, so Aaron could conceivably go 1:1 with Bramble Rye.

Trying to locate an Aaron for the longest time (big time barleywine fan here) and have thrown things out like BA Everett, BASC, King Henry, Resurgam, etc. but no bite. Posted 'FT: DBMC ISO: Aaron+' the other day and all of a sudden it's like I'm passing out cure for Ebola. I ultimate ended up with Aaron + small vertical (4) Central Waters BB Barleywine

 

Yes. We did a tasting last night of Aaron that was traded for BCBVS.

 

After a few attempts offering CD7 for Aaron I upped my offer to CD7 + BB Black Maple and found someone interested. I'm still convinced 1:1 would have been fair considering CD7 was 1PP, but it would seem Aaron is a tricky one to wrangle and I didn't mind splurging for it. We worked in a bottle of Arthur valued very reasonably. As always - when there's HF waiting at my front door I'm a happy camper

 

now that I've seen plenty of Aaron trades completed, it's definitely 1:1 w/ West Ashley (or it's trade ****) :-)
