I will be the first to report (at least on this forum posting). I give this brewery 2 thumbs up based on my and my wife's tastings there today at their grand opening. There Golden Strong Ale and DIPA were totally awesome and I also really like their IPA (which I am drinking now from a growler) . You could get 3 tastings for $5 with a small glass or 2 tastings in a bigger 12 oz. glass for $10. This is a brewery to be reckoned with and Upstate NY is up to the challenge based on the turnout I saw today. Great job Abandon!

I can also attest that the grand opening was awesome. Their double ipa was superb. Finally, a brewery in upstate NY knows what they are doing with hops.

I've previously had their farmhouse ipa and that was improved with their new hopback. This place is going to do great.

On a side note, screw Marty's meats for bailing.

Push the hype on this place- lets make it Up- State New York's equivalent to Vermont's Hill Farmstead. Brewing.

My understanding is that Marty had a propane leak in his truck that took him all day to deal with.

Very impressed with Abandon. The beers were excellent across the board. Really dug the hoppy stuff - Double IPA, Farmhouse IPA, Pale and Wet Hop Rye. The Belgian Rye, Golden Strong Ale, Rye Whiskey Barrel Aged Porter were great too. Filled four growlers. Good time also - the space is really cool although they'll be closing off the barn side during winter. The tasting area will move to the other side of the building. Go here.
