Not gonna lie, I have no idea what half of the acronyms or abbreviations on the ISO:FT forum mean.

 

I've been around this site long enough to know most of them, but this one is new, AND, I refuse to Google it. See next.

If you want someone to understand something that you write, it's your responsibility to put it into a form that is understandable.

My stance is that the only time that an abbreviation is permissible is when it appears for a term that was already used in an earlier sentence of what is being written. Define it, then use it.
