It was pretty much an instant sellout, their cart system just sucks and doesn't say "Sold Out" until you're two steps into the process.

Got mine though, looking forward to the bottles.

Yea that was an insta sellout, just a diff system where the bottles aren't held for you like bpt....

 

Had 3 in the cart hit checkout and said sold out that was some fast shit right there

 

You guys really need to learn the different online purchasing systems.

 

Was able to get 1 after trying for 5 minutes.

 

I killed that sale. I was fully checked out in 20 seconds. Apparently that was the only chance.

Almost similar to vanilla storm where you were able to purchase early (limited few)

burrito reaper, care to share Your analytics of the different systems as this felt almost similar to ddg (well the beginning that is w/o the crashing of course)

 

Anyone know if it's on draft in the San Diego area?

 

Shopify (Abnormal) - no cart hold, payment options I believe are entered by the seller
Whatchamafuckit (new Bruery) - no cart hold, payment done by Bruery so storefront is more transparent
Eventbrite (BottleLogic) - no cart hold despite there being a timer, payment options from seller
Eventbrite (Alesmith) - cart hold, old school eventbrite pages
Eventbrite (seemingly everybody else) - cart hold (variable, either 6 or 8 minutes depending on brewery), payment options from seller
BPT (everybody else aside from above) - cart hold (variable, seen 8, 14, and 15min), payment options from seller


While everyone was using BPT I was able to script it out running a rather simple perl script (changing to python eventually) to basically guarantee I would get to cart faster than a human. Of course this also meant that I had to reconfigure a few settings like if there were multiple sessions, how many tickets were offered of how many different products but that was merely modifying a single value each time.

Eventbrite I was unable to do such a script because of the additional popup window. At least the perl script couldn't handle that all that well which was part of the reason I was going to shift to python since I know that one can handle it.

Nexternal/Shopify....I don't even bother due to the various screens and that I can't set up fake sales to test. So I go regular with pounding on my keyboard and hopefully clicking faster than others.

 

Got 3 bottles right away on 1st try. Got lucky
