Yes, that is why I bought 2 cans, which is close to a 750ml bottle. Not sure I get your point.

Hehehehe, I have yet to see a brewery thread stay strictly for that brewery. =P

I'm definitely going to the anniversary tomorrow. Opened my first bottle of Goodbye Tomorrow this evening and it was fantastic. I'm pretty sensitive to coffee stouts, I couldn't finish a 6oz pour of Mocha & Ciggarettes by Cellarmaker, but here it was very well balanced. It had the thickest, most enjoyable mouthfeel I've had in a stout probably due to the extended boil and use of Belgian candi sugar. There were distinct notes of chocolate despite no cocoa nibs being advertised in the beer's description. The dates came through as it warmed to balance the vanilla. I've really become a fan of dark fruit character in stouts to round off the sweetness. As I finished the bottle, I almost picked up on a maple syrup-like character, which I think was the coffee and vanilla interacting with the honey. Weirdly drinkable for 13%, I split the bottle, but could have easily had it all myself. If Abnormal is a hype brewery, at least their stouts are worth the hype, so far as I can tell.

I'm so happy this is draft only. If they were doing bottles you'd have to add 100 to that number at least.

Compressed for the doors opening, the line wraps around to where they fill growlers.

Same. Have to say, I was surprised by how many people came down from the LA area. Saw plenty of Monkish and Bottle Logic merch being worn. Anyways, how did you like the beers?

Abnormal still has a ton of great leftovers from their party... Derek hooked us up with a little taster of the pappy too!

So he provided After the festivities that same day or Sunday? I know when i returned at 3pm the place emptied out Significantly & he was outside with a small group of 5 possibly however the preview kicked before 12pm. I was able to partake as another individual was kind enough to share his taster with the missus and I.

Yah, I did see a lot of LA brewery gear at Abnormal.

I thought they were really good - glad I was able to try an M3 (although barely), big fan of the All of the Lights and I enjoyed that Goodbye Tomorrow as well. Their hazy IPAs were pretty tasty as well.

That Pappy did taste a bit like M3 in barrels... I enjoyed it. The barrel was noticeable but it didn't drink very hot, IMO.

Make sure you grab some of the Beachwood collaboration double IPA. Was there tonight and it is so good. Their session haze not so good.
