If those of us that tried it at the Preview Tap event were raving about how good it was, it would have already sold out... Just sayin'...

No one wouldn't care about a pair of glasses if any of the flippers/traders thought this bottle could pull super high value.

 

If this beer sold out it would have been a big blow to the beer community as a whole. I hope this is the last we see of such silly gimmicks.

I like the Pizza Port shades better. I've got about a dozen so I think the $145 would be mostly a waste.

 

Those Bruery $5 wood shades are dope too...

 

My wife got a pair at the anniversary event. They don't fit my head though. Most sunglasses aren't made for people with bigger heads. :/

I don't feel bad whatsoever for people who bought the set already. If someone bought it just for the beer, they deserved this. People like them is why breweries try these kinds of gimmicks.

I won't buy it regardless. They should be beyond embarrassed to do this shit, get basically ridiculed publicly and then give in and change it just so they can sell their beer AGAIN. Plus, $28? Lol GFY abnormal. Sell it to your only buyers, your hophead groupies.

 

So I get that it is a high price, but all abnormal beers are highly priced. Modern time was selling brandy barrel aged MP for like $35, which is about the same price.
I personally don't feel like $28 is a crazy price.

 

I've always assumed the bottle counts are so because he gives half to his hophead buddies to up the rare trade value
