I'm surprised there is no Goose Island, Odell, Stone and Victory this year. Those brewers were all at ABR last year. Still looks like a great lineup!

I'd rather see breweries that don't give a damn pull out than just mail it in completely like Founders is.

Steel Toe is pretty shocking. Good local brewery bringing their current shelf turds. I'm not looking for Pappy barrel Before the Dawn or anything, but damn, throw some Size 7 in a firkin with some citra hops or something.

Hey fellow BAs. I've got 2 ABR tickets coming available due to life events. PM me if interested.

I always thought the purpose of these festivals was for breweries to show off the beers they were most proud of over the last few years. Way to much of this list is just as Steasy66 said, beer I can purchase any time, not beer that I'm dropping 50 bucks on and waiting in a couple hour long line. Hopefully places like Steel Toe and Founders bring more than printed on the program. C'mon guys, show us how big your beer dongs are, IMPRESS US.

Props to the handful of breweries who are clearly making a serious effort to impress (Deschutes).

Many breweries (especially local ones) bring more than what is listed in the advanced program. I mashed on some unannounced barleywine at the Steel Toe booth one of these years. Don't write them off yet. By the way, did anyone else notice, according to the map, that there appear to be two entrances this year? That would be extremely helpful.

According to the map, looks like two entrances this year. No info on entrance times though. Hopefully BEFORE the event starts so people can enjoy the full festival rather than waiting in line for an hour plus.

I've been going to this festival for a long time and I can't recall Founders ever bringing anything worthwhile. Double Trouble is a step up from their usual offerings.

Looks like lots of creative offerings from the local folks though, looking forward to trying a great many of them!

I remember last year at ABR we had a thread about Founders bringing nothing but shelve beers while Bells really brought it. Those that defended Founders said that Founders provided their more rare beers during the week at bars instead of at ABR.

I'm still surprised that Goose Island isn't even showing up. GI used to bring a keg of BCS that while it didn't last long at least made an appearance. Maybe GI really doesn't like MN!

As long as they wristband and take our tix before the event opens, like two years ago, I will be fine. Last year I waited in lin for 1.5 hours. It really shucked.

    Surly 8!
On a side note, after looking at the lineup, this event would be more of a value at around $25-30. Great taste was $60...and the lineups are night and day

Id say there are more than enough beers that would easily = $50 at a bar. Especially if you want to say the bars would be $1/oz that's roughly 10-15 samples of things like Abyss,Mirror, Black butte, 3 hour tour, Rum King, BA Pent, E8ght, BA Kalamazoo, CW 16.. you get the picture.

I probably drank $30 worth of beer at the Bells Tent last year
