Abrasive available yet?

    I'm heading to the cities later today. I've seen that abrasive is on tap at some places, but was curious to know if it is out in four packs yet. Is it out there? Is it hard to find? How much is a four pack going for this year?

    I was able to get some last year at the holidays and hope to get some this year too. I'm staying in Hudson, but can wander to almost anywhere in the area.

    It is omnipresent, 4 packs are everywhere that carries decent beer. You will find it no sweat!

    Gf's Daughter and SIL came down for Christmas Saturday. They went to Blue Max and a couple of other places looking for Abrasive. They didn't find any. We drank Furious on Christmas, fantastic, but was so looking forward to Abrasive.

    that sucks, if they come back up while it is still around post again in here and hopefully they can get directed to a shop with some.

    It's been really tough to find around Rochester this year too. Flying off the shelves, and the distributor has come back from Surly empty handed a couple times. I think we have only gotten two shipments down here, the original canning on 11/27, and a second shipment canned 12/12. Not cool.

    Sounds great. Hopefully I will have gotten some from my distributor by then, but I'm not holding my breath... Thankfully HopSlam will be out soon.

    It sure seems to disappear off the shelves faster this year. At any point in time I'm sure there are several places in the Twin Cities with it in stock. But many times I hit the local smaller places and they are often out. I do almost always see it at Zipps

    MGM South in Rochester had it yesterday. You have to ask for it, there is a sign up on their cooler by the rest of their Surly supply noting 1 per customer.

    If you're in Hudson, Cellars in Woodbury is the closest place. They had a cooler full yesterday.

    It probably has a lot to do with stores who get directly versus stores that get through a distributer
