Abrasive available yet?

So many better double IPAs out there, go pick up some Myercenary or Ruination.

 

Bah. Ruination might be the most overrated IPA in the country. Get some Abrasive.

 

Myrcenary is pretty good; although finding it fresher than 2 months can be difficult in MN.
Many times I've seen it past the fresh-by date.
~ But it's no Abrasive ~
And Ruination isn't even on the same playing field, IMO.

 

It's get it there or not at all up here... Sucks.

 

Let not stop there. Stone's entire portfolio is overrated. Surly blows them out of the water.

 

Abrasive tastes like sweet syrup. Stone IPA is awesome. Double Bastard is phenomenal. To each their own.

 

Ruination is wonderful, but not in the league of Abrasive, and Mycenary tastes like aspirin. IMHO.

 

So many? I suppose, like all things taste, that is a matter of opinion. But I am afraid you will find very few who agree with you on this point.

Yeah, they probably get a very limited amount - so they know they can charge it.
It's still awesome beer - even at that price.

Ive been waiting for weeks for this to come back online at France 44. I missed it the first time unfortunately. If its so plentiful up there, anyone know why they havent made it available online again? They didnt respond to my FB message.

MN stores have been scalping the shit out of this beer. Pretty much 16.99 everywhere. Get it at Sid's Discount liquor for under $15 and it's way more worth it.

 

Did the brewery brew so much of it this year that they've lowered the line-pricing to retail? Just curious.

I recall paying a higher price when it first hit coolers a couple of years back, but of course, it wasn't omnipresent back then, either.

 

Nope same price from us.
As always retailers set their retail price,we cannot legally dictate retail price.
And no we didn't "brew so much" of it this year,we brew and package 52 BBLs per week(kegs and cans) and we try to keep all stores in some inventory of it but some sell ALOT and some don't.We run out here at the brewery every week....
