Yesterday I called Haskells in Minnetonka and was told, excitedly I might add, that they have it. Went to Haskells Minnetonka and they didn't have it.

The Saga being mentioned in every thread does get annoying... But calling it a budget beer just because Summit prices fairly is even more annoying. It is a good to great IPA depending on freshness.... I know some people enjoy paying 10 bucks or more for a 4 pack of Furious, a decent hoppy amber:wink:. Everyone has different tastes, but calling Saga a "budget ass, Aldi ass beer" is insulting to one of the oldest and most down to earth craft breweries in the country.....

All that aside Abrasive is the second best DIPA I have ever had behind only TG Sosus.... I can not wait until it makes it down my way! Might have to buy a case right away... Truly a world class beer!

Website says Warrior and Citra. I know it changed in the past (availabilty was unlikely on Citra when it first released), but I think this one has remained the same for a couple years now.

FWIW, I may have found the original hop bill: CTZ bittering extract, Amarillo,Glacier (not sure how true this is, but it seems right to me).

Summit does price accordingly, to the quality of their beer. If they charged Surly prices there would be a Frankensteinian like uproar throughout the town, complete with torch weilding citizens.

I am fighting within myself to not post here. I cannot compare Furious to Saga (except when price is considered), Saga is great and a hell of a deal, but Furious is still my overall favorite beer. But, I would also argue Saga is no worse than Overrated even if priced the same.

How long is Abrasive going to be on the shelves? I really hope Abrasive becomes a year round offering once the new brewery is built.

The hop bill still includes Citra.
