Just curious what kind of value is being put on both the BA and non-BA Abraxas. I have BCBS, BCBCS, Cherry Rye, Backyard, Parabola, FW 15, FW17, Sucaba ('12 & '13)...

Sorry if this is an annoying question...I just want to get a reasonable idea of what I would have to give up. I don't want to put a bad trade offer out there, but at the same time, I don't want to go crazy over $4$.

    Thanks for the help!!

Cherry + might pull one, I couldn't see why one drain pour couldn't be exchange for another drain.

With what you have listed it would take a big $4$ hit on your side of the trade to land BA. Like literally a 4:1. Wait until January for the next release of BA for a better shot.

Regular you could land with a cherry rye or backyard+ (Hint, check out stlhops). I don't think any of the FW would get it done because stl is in their distro footprint

BA Abraxas is a wickedly excellent beer.

I would trade a Regular Abraxas 1:1 for Cherry Rye or Back Yard or $4$ ($23) for any of the other beers up there except Sucaba.

In fact if you want to make that trade BM me.

I can't comment on BA Abraxas as I don't have one and have never tried to get one.

I've got an Abraxas if anyone wants to trade a Cherry Rye for it.

I'd definitely like to score an Abraxas but I feel like a Cherry Rye is too much for a non-BA Abraxas by itself, especially since Cherry rye came out last year and won't be made again. Let me know if I'm over valuing tbe Cherry rye tho, or undervaluing the Abraxas...that's why I created this thread

I think you are 100% correct which is why I said I would do it. Of course I would make the other trader happy with extras or agreed upon ahead of time beers. Its about being happy and not winning.

It's pretty damn delicious. I'd take it over most berry flavored bc's.

last year (ish) when BA abraxas was released I did 2:1 with cherry rye for one bottle. Now that BA abraxas has a bit more hype behind it the 2:1 deal may not swing it. I gotta say, it was an amazing beer. Definitely worth tracking down IMO

No. I wouldn't be surprised if you got crickets offering FF x2 for a BA Abraxas.

Well damn, I don't care how good it is, I can't justify giving up two FF for one. What's driving this demand? Are the BA Abraxas bottle counts really low at this point? Are they releasing more anytime soon?

There were only ~700 bottles released, and it has only been released once. We don't have any details on the next release, but it is going to be released again. Plus the allotment was 6/person, so there were a lot fewer people who actually got bottles. It's a fabulous beer, highly-rated, award-winning (multiple FoBAB metals), and limited as I mentioned.

Sounds like the Hoarders conundrum, there's 300 hoarders members who wish the same logic applied.
