Also how fast did these go last year?

I'm thinking of making the trip down from Minnesota for the release - tickets go on sale at the brewery tomorrow, and if additional tickets are available they will be sold online Thursday. Just curious if anyone has opinions as to whether they will sell out tomorrow (and if I should try to find a ticket mule), or if there's a good chance some will remain for online purchasing.

I may be wrong, but I remember it being on tap fairly regularly for a month or 2. Bottles were less available, but still easily obtainable I thought, can't remember exactly when it was I went and bought some.

I'm sure since this is the second yr for the event tickets (if there isn't a higher number) will sell out today. I hope not bc I live in Indiana. But I have a feeling they will

That's what I was afraid of. If anyone wants to drag their spouse, grandparents, etc. out to get tickets today, I'm looking for 1-2. Will pay face value for the tickets plus hook you up with some great beer for the trouble. BM me to discuss.

Hopefully someone on here can tell us if the tickets sold out

Tickets were allocated to the people in line and gone right at 4. 110 tickets total.

They also have BA Sump on tap right now apparently.

    /sigh

Correct. All who were in line at 3:59(ish) got tickets. Felt really bad for the one guy that was there and didn't get a ticket.

BA Sump and SP 4 Happiness were nice perks as well.

The tickets were for the VIP package only, right? People without tix can show up on the day and still have a chance at both regular and coffee bottles, correct?

There won't be one. It was only in the event they didn't sell out on Wednesday

Any idea what time folks are planning on showing up in the morning? Also, any folks care to share what they are planning on bringing for the bottle share? We were planning on showing up around 6am, hopefully early enough for a bottle of coffee, and I think we are bringing 11,12,13 darkness and maybe something sour.

    Cheers
    Tom

My guess is that 6am is early, but still not first in line early. People are nuts.

Given the high of 49 and chance of rain, I'm saying that people might be a little later than usual.

I was thinking it might be early, but I got to the first SP release at 6am and was over 100 back in line. Granted thats SP, but Abraxas has gotten insanely popular

I got to the release for the fruited Ferms at around 9 and was about 100th in line if that gives anyone a benchmark.

Abaraxas bottles were still available at the brewery the week of Christmas last year. I went on December 21, 2013 with a large group and we left with a case between us (2 bottle/person limit).

I think the early is more for coffee, which does anyone know the bottle count on that last yr?

Comparing Cory's first release/ releases for fruited versions of fermier to non ba abraxas release is silly

You could buy regular abraxas until like February last year at the brewery. Last year there were 300 bottles of coffee and there was probably only 175 people there total (120 of which were VIP ticket holders)
