Abraxas (fresh vs. age)

    Wanting some feedback on if I should drink fresh or the chilis smooth out with a little age. Had Mexican Cake and felt like the chilis overpowered the base a bit too much and wanted to see how Abraxas compared.

    Assuming you only got one, I'd drink it in a few months. In that period, if you see it on draft, you could change plans and hang onto it for a year. I'd say 3 months from now, anyone who got a (1/6) would have put it on.

    chilis fade so the entire object of the stout basically disappears with age. my opinion, do not age.

    Does not age well. Fresh. 2011 not drinking well

    Thanks for the input! I think I will be drinking it fresh so I can get all the flavor.
