Does anyone know when this usually hits the shelves in Maryland? TIA

It showed up in Montgomery County/Silver Spring well after it hit DC and VA last year. DC and MD got it around Thanksgiving while Montgomery County didn't get it until January or so.

Ye Olde Spirit Shop had some a few months back in the Spring. I think Dawson's and Wine Source might have had it at one time.

I know I got one from Dawsons. I think it was December of last year.

FYI, I picked up a bottle today at Perfect Pour in Columbia, last one they had on the shelf... but if they had it I imagine it should be popping up in some other spots around MD...

Picked up a bottle in Westminster at College Square Liquors yesterday. It was in the Baltimore area today as well.

The guys at Perfect Pour thought Dawsons would get some and maybe one other place but they weren't sure. They got one case which I imagine is gone.

Regular Abraxas is IMO, overpriced by at least 5$ (averaging 25$ a bottle at retailers around me). It's a great spiced imperial stout, but it's not a $25 beer. Passed on it several times in the past few weeks and would continue to do so. If it was between $18-20, I would have certainly bought a few.

I think the "overpriced by at least $5" is something that every single Perennial beer has in common.

Thanks for keeping this thread alive gents. Looks like I just missed out on the allotment at Ye Olde in Frederick

Downtown Crown in Gaithersburg just got in 2 cases. The manger there, Dave, is the man and that place is definitely the beer store in Montgomery Co.

Still some at downtown crown. $28.99. I believe Dave used to work at Beer and Wine co. Nice fella. I was told they only got one case but the muppet behind the counter told me that.

Had a friend pick one up for me since it seems to be gone down here, but man that Moco surcharge burns. Sounds like he's running a good store up there though, so I'm happy to support that.

Preaching to the choir, friend. Preaching to the choir. It's a beautiful store. Every employee I've run into is an unfriendly pile of worthless other than Dave. If it was Gilly's it'd probably be $40. They sell bottles of Labyrinth for $25. Let me rephrase, they try to sell bottles of Labyrinth for $25.

Yeah... I always try to buy beer down here first when I'm planning to visit friends up there, but I appreciate the heads up on this one.

I always wonder who is buying the outrageously high-priced stuff at Gilly's and WHY!?!?!?

I know one person that does. It's never bombers, he doesn't know better, and now that he does he'll still pay for the convenience. I no longer want to know this person.
