Abraxas info?

From some of us here in StL have been getting big things for it. The beer is fantastic and this years batch #2 is almost gone. Batch #3 is supposed to be released sometime this summer with a BA version as well. Cant wait. Love this beer. You looking to land a bottle?

The beer runs $20 for 750.

 

I tried Batch 2 and it wasn't bad. I don't quite get what all the buzz is about, though. If you have the opportunity to trade $4$ locals for it, I'd recommend giving it a shot. Definitely not worth trading away too much limited stuff for, though.

 

Agree - it's OK, but way overpriced.

 

Thanks--I'm glad someone agrees. Based on the beer's description and BA ratings, I went into it thinking it might be the next Hunahpu's (--or even better!) Unfortunately, while Abraxas was a solid "B", it just wasn't in the same league as Huna.

 

Agree, nothing close to Huna...but it costs more? Of course, it's also not a brewery only release.
