I picked up a bottle of Abraxas at Mr. B's in Denver earlier this week. I also had Abraxas on tap last night at Freshcraft while chatting with Cory King, Perennial's head brewmaster. He's a really nice guy.
I wish they would have said that - all I read was "Perennial representative" which to me, meant sales rep. Maybe I missed it. Had BA Abraxas at Hops & Pie during GABF week... so ridiculously good. Makes me wonder what Copper Kettle MCS would taste like barrel-aged.
Makes me wonder of Copper Kettle ever will do a BA MCS. I prefer their normal version to Abraxas and their BA bottles have turned out even better than expected.
Agreed. The ones from last year, too. In general I think they do a pretty good job when they aren't trying to make hoppy or crazy gimmick beers.
They had a barrel aged saison with bret last time I was at the tap room in November and it was awesome! Wonder if they will or have bottled that in that in the past?
