    Hello all,

I have a simple question that I can't find the answer for anywhere.

Why are high ABV beers better (generally) for cellaring? Everywhere I read that low ABV beers "won't hold up" but that's as much info as I can find. Can anyone explain why high ABV = good for cellaring? Just curious. Thanks.

Higher ABV beers have a bigger malt content, which is really the flavor that is going to hold up over time as the hops will fade fairly quickly.
