Generally speaking upwards, the Belgians and the enjoyment of imperial stouts and IPAs has driven this. However, it's also seasonal, with the big stouts being a favourite in the winter but in the sweltering heat. But lately I've had a real hankering for some well made English ales, miles and browns. Something full of flavor and enjoyable, but not spending too much time over analyzing them. Plus those types are easier to drink in volume.

I'm seasonally influenced and prefer drinking lower ABV during warmer months.

It's back and forth for me depending on how I feel or what beers are available.

I think I work at both ends of the spectrum. I drink session low ABV styles most of the time, especially APAs, session IPAs, and goses. I throw in some monsters too. It's nice to cap off an evening of sessionable beers with a 13% stout or something of the sort.

Depends on the day. If I'm tailgating or doing anything where I'll be drinking all day I prefer to stay under 6%. If I'm having 1-2 I like higher abv.

"I've gone to...." as usual, not even looking at what the ABV is when I drink a beer. Any and all are fair game for whatever beer I happen to be in the mood to drink when I look into the fridge.

I like DIPA's best, so I drink a few, then a few light lagers.

Let's say that five days a week I'd prefer three 4% abv brews to one at 12%, and two days a week I'd prefer the opposite.

This is a rough estimation and omits the fact that I'll usually have at least one more beer on top of that.

Typically I don't care but usually higher ABV beers equates to greater flavor. However, that's not to say I wont try a low ABV beer if presented one. I just prefer a beer full of flavor, if it can be done at a lower ABV, I am on board!

Lately, fewer high ABV beers because I've stopped keeping beer at home and I used to come home with a lot of RIS bombers.

I lean towards lower abv brews but there aren't enough of them in my locale so I do the best I can.

I almost always go for lower ABV. I could drink hefeweizens and sours all the time and I prefer regular IPAs/stouts/porters over imperial versions. And barrel aged? I'll gladly allow someone else spend their hard-earned dollars. Really the only high-ABV styles I love are Belgians. A slow-sipping quadrupel is hard to beat in the winter months!

I don't let ABV play into what I enjoy much. Unless its very high and I don't want to get hammered. But I go for style and flavor and than when I'm choosing something to drink I may want to check the %.
That being said I am gravitating towards pilsners and lagers. I just have an appreciation for what skill and patience it takes to brew a quality beer in this style. And there are plenty of nuances and flavors that come with the style to stay interested. Then if I want a little more hops an IPL. But I give all styles a chance regardless of ABV.

I have always been drinking a mixture. I'll often start a drinking session with something strong, then switch to lower abv beers if I want to keep drinking and not get too drunk

I am all over the place. The last thing I look at when trying beer is its ABV.

Summertime is upon us, I am looking for more low abv, saison and such. Something crisp and refreshing
