How much are they filling a 64 oz for?

    $19, I believe

I was told $20 for the 64oz at WFDomain just today. I got a 32oz for $14 + tax (which was the standard pour price x 2, though they were only pouring 11oz). I don't think I'll ever get a growler fill there again. Between that and Sweep the Leg 32oz for $12 last week, I'm going to have to start going to growler room.

Growler Room was charging $19 for the 64oz fill, I think, so not much difference. Although they charge $9.50 for the 32

yeah, maybe the 64 is typically a good deal at WF, but they seem to kind of make up the prices on the spot depending on who you talk to. There's no documentation of anything. Both times, I've just had the guy double whatever price they saw up on the board, despite the pour size on the board being different.
For big beers, a 32 is usually enough for me, but paying 50% more than Growler Room is not so great.

I'd complain to the beer manager. The pricing issue has been brought to her attention before, and she always has some excuse about how someone else screwed up, etc., but that she'll take care of it. But it seems to happen over and over again at that store, which is the main reason I don't go there, despite it being the closest spot for me to fill growlers.

They need to have consistent, printed prices, and those just don't exist right now.

I just don't fill growlers which solves that problem for me. But, I 100% agree that all prices should be up on a board (or even a price index thing saying how much a growler will be based on the price/oz of it).

But, I will still go there too much to pretend I am not eating out (it's a grocery store, clearly not eating out) and enjoying a beer.

Dude, don't even get me started on that place. I blow her email up with complaints and issues about the prices and updates to their taphunter. I can forward you the emails that Ken is talking about too. I feel as if they charge as much as they want and wait for someone to say something. Something else, the other WF stores have different and many times better prices than this one. I'm pretty fed up with the way she is running the show over there. No consistency at all.

Side note, i haven't been getting updates on the new beer releases. Maybe she is not sending them out, or maybe she took me off the list. I feel its the later as according to our friends Daniel, I am "that guy who complains about the prices" as he over heard them talking about me one day lol. But lemme tell ya when you jack the price from $9 for a Yellow Rose fill to $20? I'm gonna say something. BTW the Yellow Rose fills are back to $9 and the Sputnik price came down too.

At this point, it sounds like you guys should be complaining to corporate.

I didn't really mean to start a WFDomain bashing thread, though I'm unhappy with the growler pricing and probably wouldn't fill there again. I actually have found better prices there for most limited release bottles than Spec's or anywhere else that gets them unless HEB has it and even then it's pretty much the same. I don't really live/work close enough to any of the HEBs that are consistently getting all that stuff, so I frequently end up at WFD on Fridays for lunch. Spec's Arbor Walk (or maybe just Spec's) is the one charging the most for no real reason for real limited things, IMO.

As for the email list, I was told many months ago by one of the other guys that is frequently there that the emails with what was in stock and pricing were against corporate policy and that's why they only send out the occasional one for special events now, which even that is pretty inconsistent and rare. She might still hate you though
