Anyone seen it in the west Metro? Trying to decide if I should hit stores on my way home.

I think the government needs to get involved in redistributing the wealth.
    Just an idea.

Just paid $18 at one place and $17 at another. I think it was $14 last year. Yikes.

Anyone have insight as to whether these markups are driven by Deschutes, the distributors or the stores? I think I paid just over $10 last year.

In that case sounds like it was Deschutes!

Yep, it's been going up every year in Oregon, too. I paid $17 this year, $15 last year, $14 in 2011, and I think $12 in 2010.

It sucks the price is going up, but its still a damn fine beer. Happy I was able to find some and didn't hesitate at price.

Sold out in 4 minutes today at Princeton's. I live 2 blocks away, got the notification and left instantly and still only got the second to last bottle.

I believe Princeton's had it earlier than the notification because my wife picked up a bottle slightly before the the notice. I was told that delivery truck usually comes at noon, but they weren't sure how much it would be delayed by today. Also don't know how much they got, but it went quick.

Picked up a few bottles at MGM in Bloomington (Old Shakopee Road). Had to ask for it, but they had a case on one of the register counters with no bottle limit. $15.99 per. Still plenty left at 6pm today.

It starts at the source. Supplier (Deschutes) raises price, then distributor must to maintain markup (a percentage) and then stores need to keep their markup.
