Abyss 2013

Yeah they tend to go a little nuts on limited releases when it comes to pricing. I also wish they would get more Great Lakes, but they do get Ballast Point now which is good.

 

Picked up two at Byerly's Ridgedale tonight. $17.99. There was at least one left.

 

Yeah Abyss was easy this year compared to last imo. A lot of the bigger stores got 5 cases each or even more.

 

Just secured my first ever bottle - excited to get engulfed by the Abyss.

 

Is there any Abyss left on the shelves in the western suburbs? I've been shut out so far. Thanks!

 

I've got quite a few of them. Would be willing to trade you 1:1 for Founder Sweet Repute or two abyss for a Doom if you make up the $4$. I live in the eastern suburbs but would be willing to meet for the Doom. Also would trade you 1:1 for a Mango Magnifico as my beer store guy was asking me if I had one to share. I would travel for the Mango as well. Same offer for anybody else... More interested in the Doom or the Mango Magnifico.

 

Not sure if people are still out hunting this down but Sharretts Liquor of University and Raymond had about 4 or 5 cases left of this stuff. I don't remember the price $17.99 maybe? I'm not a huge fan of this beer but was surprised to see so much sitting around.

Bought a bottle at Edina Liquor (50th & France) yesterday. $16.99 a bottle with 5+ of them still in the cooler

I would be interested to know when more may be delivered. I am wanting to do a vertical tasting but need at least 1 2013, 2 would be ideal (so I could continue my other vertical). If not I'll be stuck trading

 

I went to one of my local stores around noon and the manager came over and handed me a bottle. He asked if I wanted more, said they got some more in.

 

Still at least 5 here as of last night

 

Just an FYI... I'm all set on the trades for the Founder's beers. Thanks to everybody.

 

Edina Liq at 50th & France was out on Saturday but I found bottles at another Edina Liq at 50th & Highway 100. I left 2 bottles on the shelve for someone else.
