If you're in search of Abyss and its variants, it has been popping up at Whole Foods and Specs locations all this week.

I have tried, but out really fast. I would love to find some if you know a place.

I tried today. Got there 5 minutes after release and everything was already gone.

Yup, first beer I specifically got in a hurry to get in ~2 years. Gone 20 mins after delivery. This is why I don't chase beer anymore, rarely attend releases and enjoy drinking stuff that is easily obtainable off the shelf. Shit has become ridicurous. Not to mention, for $30 a bottle I can buy my own bottle of a decent cognac or rye for the price of two variants.

Completely agree... the local scene has gotten absurd. I mean... I'm happy that people have come around to good beer, but I'm not going to drive all over town looking for Abyss... there are plenty of good stouts that are easy enough to obtain on a regular basis (such as Bomb!)

Obviously whales are what they are b/c of exclusivity, but it does seem like the local whale hunter set is growing much faster than the little allocation that we do receive, at least in DFW.

If still looking, as of last night, there were 3 on the shelf at Parkit...
