What's a good dessert to go with Abyss? Was thinking of making pot de creme - just straight dark chocolate ones

Raspberry Tart. Allow the beer and dessert to contrast one another. You've got the chocolate component covered by the beer right?

i completely agree, I would recommend something to contrast it. instead of chocolate and chocolate.
raspberry tart or even some kind of cheesecake, or something vanilla-esque.

    creme brûlée perhaps.

    cheers

Once had Abyss with homemade apple pie. It was an amazing combination.

My favorite pairing with The Abyss is Molly Moon's Stumptown coffee ice cream. The ice cream is made with ground coffee beans rather than brewed coffee, giving it a little bit of a bite to pair with The Abyss.

Anything coffee or mocha. Truffles, mousse - the pot de creme idea sounds perfect.
