I know Spanish, Latvian/Lithuanian (they're very similar), and some German.

    Oh and English too.

I can also introduce myself in Japanese, check someone in, and ask if I could help with their luggage (I used to work at Walt Disney World Resorts in college... LOTS of Japanese guests there). It's when they started trying to have a converstation with me that the illusion crumbled to the ground.

    My fridge.

No but seriously... I'd try up in Bee Caves. They have all the beer and drink none of it.

Yall are getting FSW and I believe before Dallas.

There were tons of people from DFW down last weekend. You should have reached out to see if anyone would mule you some down. You probably could have had as much as you could afford, the Grand Cru is unicorns and rainbows.

DFW, Abyss, Monday and Tuesday, bumping the abyss content to 3%.

And that 2% is represented by posts like:

"man, i hate that abyss ain't here yet"
    "no abyss still"
    "hey, got some abyss"
    "dude, distributors suck"
    "maybe next week abyss"

    just saying...

Funny thing is, I dont know that that would help. I have a buddy who lives in Vancouver, WA, which is just across the bridge from Portland, OR, and he said that they never even saw it on the shelves there this year. So I dont know what they're doing re:distribution, but it seems to be screwing a lot of people over.

Seriously? Well excuse my misinformation... Specs on Walnut Hill was expecting it on Monday, funny how quickly things can change.

    You're the man Fern!

I'd love to know where all our Texas bottles have been because I think you're dead on with this.

I can't wait to visit this store on my next trip to SA. It's going to be so much fun if I get to meet "this guy".

DFW will get bottles before San Antonio does. They probably got kegs first too, but apparently no one wants to tap it until bottles arrive. The Saucer only did it because Gary Fish was there.

I am pretty sure that they are trying to WOW Chicago since they are a new market. I would be that is where most of Texas' allocation and probably more ended up going. This is only a guess, but I feel a pretty solid one.

As I commented in another thread, Deschutes seems to want to focus on new customers rather than keep the old ones happy. This is bad business.

I'm glad we have Founders coming. I hope they use Deschutes' space on the shelf to put all that Founder's goodness.
