I actually thought about it, but I was in town for NFR and we had work. I barely had any time to do anything except stop by WF in Town Square on my way to the airport. But I'll be back soon. I can never stay away from Vegas too long!

Anyone know the status of this, here in Texas? I've heard we're getting it, but it sure seems late this year, so not 100%.

Bottles still do not have label approval.

Maybe I'm just out of the loop, but this used to arrive in Texas early February every year.

Do they need label approval? Isn't last year's approval adequate?

Maybe so, but I seem to remember it hitting as early as Christmas just a few years ago. I could definitely be wrong too.

I do not know the technicalities, but they have gotten label approvals for every year up to now, so I am assuming that they do this year.

If any of you Dallas guys are chomping at the bit for a 2014, I have an extra on hand.

I would love to get one if you are in the DFW area.

It looks like 10 cases of Abyss arrived at the Friendswood Shell Station today. Plus at least 1 case of Dissident.

Any idea how much they were charging?

    Edit: On both of those?

No idea what the prices are there, just saw it on twitter. But I did pay $17.99 for Abyss and $15.99 for Dissident at a liquor store in Clear Lake yesterday. I only was buying one of each, so it wasn't worth it to me to try and chase down a lower price elsewhere. I also saw a post on Facebook that someone quoted a $20 price tag for Abyss at an HEB. At these prices I probably won't be buying any more Deschutes Reserve Series beers. Too many quality beers available for a lot less money.

Agreed on all fronts. I think i could swing the prices you paid, but that's about as high as I'll go. Thanks!

I may buy one if I see it at those prices. But, that is just because I will probably do a vertical of them at some point. Not going to hunt it down like previous years (good problem to have, now).

I paid $19 for Abyss at HEB Woodlands-I didn't ask for the price and was shocked. Bought it anyway but that's a huge price for a 22oz bomber. Haven't seen Dissident yet.

The days of $12.99 Abyss are long gone, it seems. Ah well.

Gotta check the bottle, but I think I paid $15.99 for my bottle in AZ over the holidays, and I thought THAT was high. Most likely won't buy more than the 1

That's insane. Sad that prices are going up. May get one to keep the vertical going but not going to search it out.
