Had the Rye and Cognac at the pub after buying one bottle of each. Both were excellent, but I preferred the Cognac much more for being such a different taste. I imagine that's one that will be divisive, as I also like brandy in coffee on a lazy day. The Cognac should definitely age well as well.

At least one of the New Seasons in the outskirts of Portland has (or had as of a couple days ago) both cognac and rye. But you have to ask for them.

Freddy's on Burnside has both the Cognac and Rye. They're behind the counter at the growler filling station. $24.99 each.

Maybe this was less "limited" in OR than it was outside of the state? All the previous chatter about WA seemed to indicate that bottle shops got their case or 2 each and it was snapped up like that. Is more actually popping up in new places (or even the same places)?

I found some of both variants last week (if anyone is still looking).

It is possible, I don't know how many bottles they made, but we were promised and received multiple cases of each variant, thankfully.

Cracked open my bottle of the Rye Abyss and wow, that one is a doozy. Great stuff. Still think I found the cognac one slightly better and more complex/interesting, but both flat out rule.

    Hey Guys,
If you are still looking for Abyss in the Portland metro area, Market of Choice in West Linn has all three on their shelf.

If anybody missed out on the Rye and/or Cognac a couple months ago, a second shipment seems to have dropped in some places in Seattle recently. This is your chance, if you're really determined. A word to the wise, at any rate...

Deschutes reshipped additional cases of Rye to some accounts, it is back out in the marketplace if anyone missed out initially. Wish I knew the actual production case count. . .

I am kind of curious what "remarkably limited" equals in approximate case count.

To see whether or not it's worth investing in a hand truck?
