I’ll be up in Brooksville this week, just south of Acadia / Bar Harbor. The last thread on this area was 2.5 yrs ago so I figured I’d see if anyone could chime in with any current recommended breweries / bars or beer-centric restaurants/ bottle shops in the area. I appreciate any responses—thanks!!
When I was in Bar Harbor last summer Atlantic Brewing had just opened their new tap room and it was a fun stop. Also, Bar Harbor Beerworks was a fun place to go for lunch.
I was JUST in Acadia last week for my honeymoon. Blaze has some real nice food and had Foundation (Epiphany) Bissell (Substance, Reciprocal, Lagerbier), and even Allagash Pick your Own. Also a few of those were on at Finback Alehouse as well. There was a good-looking bottle shop, Global Beverage Warehouse, in Ellsworth, too.
Blaze had great food and fantastic beer choices as well. Atlantic Brewing taproom was a decent spot for a drink although I remember them closing oddly early. (Also was sort of off season)
