Anyone ever order from Ace Spirits online? I placed an order a week ago, and I haven't heard anything since. I emailed them yesterday and got no answer... Just wondering if anyone has any experiences with them?
I ordered from them several weeks ago... heard nothing for a full week. Then I found a place with better pricing and shipping so I called and canceled my order. Probably wouldn't try again.
I ordered from them a few months ago. Didn't get anything but my confirmation, but my stuff ended up coming after a week delay or so. I assumed they had to gather some of what I ordered from different stocks.
Which place? I'm always on the look-out for websites with decent shipping rates. I was sad when LetsPour stopped shipping.
I was in Ace a few weeks back, and I was told that they received a C&D letter from the state of WI and that they no longer ship to WI.
Apparently they cancelled my order because it looks like the pending charge never was charged to my card. Would have been nice to have some communication since I sent a couple of emails. Pretty shady...
Ok, final update on this - a little wierd, but a couple of hours after I posted the last update the other day, I got a shipping notice for a modified version of my order (a couple of items were missing). It was a bit strange, but I did get the package today and it was well packed and delivered as promised, albeit modified with no warning. I guess I'll say I'm fine with the order, and I'd likely visit the store if I was in Minnesota, but I probably wouldn't order again. But I'll enjoy my Abrasive and Coffee Bender...
