I'll be in Vegas in June and I'm coming from the Bay Area. Is Aces and Ales worth taking a cab from the strip? Looks like most of the beers they have are from California breweries. Just wanted to make sure that it's worth the cab fare. Any other places to check out in the area? Thanks.

That doesn't really help me find out what else is in the area/vicinity. Unless I enter every address in Google maps. Nobody got time for that.
Neither does not telling us which Aces & Ales. Nellis is around 7 miles off the strip and Tenaya is upwards of 12-15 miles. Lazy posters. PS - Yes. I think Aces & Ales is worth a visit, but I've only been to Nellis.
Pretty expensive. Lots of Stone in bottles (harder to get stuff). Lots of nice stuff on tap also, food is not too bad. Cheers!
They post their tap list online so just look it up and see if worth the travel. Bottle list is online too. Place is pretty standard sports bar feel. Food is decent. Video Poker machines at the bar spots. Will let you do a 6 sampler for like 16 bucks which is a nice deal.
Definitely worth a cab ride. Nellis has more of a dive bar feel, fewer taps. Tenaya more like a sports bar, newer, cleaner, more taps. Nothing else near Nellis that I know of (have not been to LV in 6 months though). Tenaya Creek Brewery is about 1/4 mile from A&A Tenaya and worth a visit also.
Went to the teneya location the other night. Really enjoyed it. There was a ballast point tap takeover going I so it was really great to drink some rare ballast brews. Also they had Lagunitas sucks on tap do that was great!
