dear friends, i found out my office is just a stone's throw from acoustic ales, so i'm going to swing by today for a flight. anyone have any experience with these guys? i searched the forums but nothing came up. any beers that are cant miss, or conversely, anything i should steer clear of?
http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/31319 There's only one opinion for each beer so far, so adding your own would be valuable.
Did they finally open a tasting bar? One of my friends always raves about the chocolate milk stout, but I personally have never had it. The Hot for Wheatcher and Shake your Money Maker brown were solid.
the website said they are in the mission brewery building and all indications point to them being open to the public. i'm really interested in trying the willow wolves nelson ipa, but i'll try to sample a little bit of everything...
That location is a contract brewing spot. Many breweries have started/failed there. I'm unsure if the brewer of any label brews there or if they submit recipes and a staff brewer makes them.
Acoustic occupies the space and brews there own beer. The tasting room is pretty nice from what I hear, however I have yet to make it there. Hoping to hit it soon, I enjoyed both their Passionfruit Pils and Tush IPA.
I've had a few beers of theirs...nothing special but not terrible. With that said, I plan on checking out the tasting room and having a few more of their offerings.
Pretty sure that it is no longer a contract brewing spot - pretty much just Acoustic Ales at this point.
