    Wicked Weed was able to charter a flight to New Zealand to buy specialty hops, and then posted the picture online.

    There is no shortage of money and $41 for a bottle is ridiculous.

    Better they charge $41 than sell it for $20 and have people trade it for $41.

    My buddy was that WW for the Golden release, the weekend they also tapped Ad Idem. He had a pour and said it was delicious, but said he preferred Garcon, especially for the price. Bartender also made a comment that the breweries collaborated on everything besides the pricing. :sunglasses:

    Yeah, when I was at the Golden Angel release, there was two people I saw that bought a case each. At that price I'd rather have a case of Buffalo Trace and have enough money for all the mint I could dream of.

    Travel costs? Really? This is the lamest excuse ever to "justify" jacking up the price on a bottle of beer, save for the Brewdog nonsense served out of a taxidermy rodent.
    I literally laughed out loud when I saw the price of these...
