So i was short on Calcium Chloride on brewday. Added the amout needed for my Strike water, but was short 1 or 2 grams for my Sparge. Ive noticed better results when i hit my target water profiles so i want to be as exact as i can.

Would it be bad if I added that 1 gram of Chloride when i rack to Secondary for dry hopping?

At this point I'd probably either mix it with the priming sugar or add at kegging.

Also, any particular reason you plan to use a secondary for the dry hop?

Gotcha, ill be adding it to the keg then. hopefully i remeber to.

Ill be dry hopping into Secondary because i want to harvest the London Ale III yeast that ive used. Usually i dry hop into primary but ive been so happy with what this strain and how my IPAs have been coming out.

I'd say yeast harvesting is a very valid reason to secondary.

Not to derail the topic, but have you considered dry hopping in the keg? I recently started suspending a bag tied to a worm clamp on the PRV to add hops and have been very happy with my results so far.

i have actually. i dry hopped 6oz in a previous beer in Primary, then cold crashed to rack into a Keg with 2oz. the smell was the best i have ever made.

Then, i did another beer recently that i didnt add dry hop and force carbed at 30psi for 10 min. then released pressure, added 4oz of Nelson and let it sit at 14psi. Not much aroma yet. im thinking due to the low temp. im going to take it out of the keezer to sit at room temp for 3 days to let the oils mix with the beer.

Dry hopping in the keg is awesome! I do 50% in the primary then 50% in the keg. Do you do a full load in the keg or a %?

I've been going with 100% in the keg, but I may start splitting it

But back on topic here, I can't imagine it makes much difference if kettle salts are added in the kettle, in primary, or at packaging.

I do 50/50. i only dry hop in the keg to make up for the lost aroma when transfering from the carboy to keg. especially if i want to force carb and drink within a couple days. i hate when i carb at 13psi and have to wait 1.5 weeks till its ready.

but yeah, i dont think adding the salts in the keg will hurt anything. to be honest, i probably wouldnt notice any difference and that amount.
