I like to use sure screens with whole hops in the keg that I don't bag up. I'll also use sure screens with pellet hops that I bag up in a muslin bag containing a few stainless steel elbows to weigh them down. I like to hang those bagged pellet hops from one of these lids using wire ties made from a certain type of plastic that is food safe / inert.

I use tea balls and pellet hops. Works like a charm. 2 to 3 balls per keg with 2oz of pellets in each ball.

The first pour was about 12 oz of trub, the picture is of the second pour, some chill haze but no floaties and a nice white fluffy head that’s sticking around. LOTS of aroma from the hops, really smells great. If I closed my eyes I’d swear it was a Pliny. Taste is pretty good, again LOTS of hop flavor and the bitterness is very smooth, I think it’s the wheat malt that’s giving it a smooth mouth feel and causing the hop flavors to hang around on the tongue a good while. I like the amount of bitterness on this, although it seems a little more like 70-80 ibu’s and the malt is taking a back seat. I think another week will give it time to clear more and for the hops and malts to be a bit more balanced.
I dry hopped with .45oz of Simcoe and .70oz of Amarillo in the keg (this was a 2.5 gal batch) and didn’t use any hop bags. Put them in the keg on 11/3, and then in the fridge on gas 11/7. Used the hop screen on the end of the dip tube……so far It's working like a charm!!

How should I sanitize the hop bag? Thinking about boiling the bags for a few minutes before adding the hops.

I dip the empty bag in boiling water for a few seconds.
