I have a packet of dry yeast I wanted to add to a tripel come bottling time later this week. Do you guys just dump the recommended amount of dry yeast into the bottling bucket or do you rehydrate it first? And at what ratio or amount per gallon of beer? Thanks.

Thanks for the link. That answers exactly what I needed to know. I'll pick that yeast up instead.

The link indicates that CBC-1 comes in 500 g (17.6 ounce) packages. Do you really want that much dry yeast?

    Cheers!

I looked it up and my LHBS has 11g packets. That'll fit the bill.

No need to re-hydrate dry yeast addition at bottling.
Jamil and Ashton recommend pitching 10% of the amount pitched when the wort was racked into the fermentor.

IOW...if you pitched one packet (~11 grams) of 05...then pitch 1 gram of 05 into the bottling bucket.
