16 oz. cans, particularly of Double IPA, are all the rage recently where I live. The price point is so much more favorable than most bombers, and the continuous supply of freshly canned beer is great. The single thing I miss about bombers is the 22 oz. serving size (especially when it comes to 8% abv). On a work night particularly, one can hits the spot quite well, yet it invites cracking another cold one (especially as tasty as they are). While everyone has a different tolerance, 32 oz. of 8% beer to a moderate drinker packs a pretty solid buzz. My solution has been to either be satisfied with one 16 oz. can, or make the second a lower abv 12 oz. beer to round out an evening.
So there is no question or hypothetical situation associated with your thread? What are we supposed to respond to? Or is this just a clear-cut case of "Cool story, bro"?
I love the 16oz sizes that are more popular now. I'm still in the mode of either one 16oz can by myself or much more than that with friends. Feel like I'm getting a steal with an extra 4oz's now as I'd almost never pop a bomber by myself.
