Adjusting Top Off Water Profile?

    Hi all,

    Have a quick question about water chemistry.....when adjusting your water profile do you add the salts to any top off water as well or only mash and sparge?

    If you want to hit an overall water profile, then you could treat all of it the same, or you could treat only part of it, but at higher concentrations.

    But it's unusual to top off with water (after the boil) in all grain brewing. Normally, all of the water would be used in the mash/sparge.
