Westvleteren is no better than Rochefort or Bernardus. In fact it might be worst.

    That is rough man.

Still haven't tried BCBS, or, even worse, heady topper since the alchemist is only a 4 hour drive.

When I was a child (in my 20's thru 40's) I drank Bud and later Coors light (into my 60's) . And then gave up childish things. I stared with Blue Moon (don't laugh). I liked it for a while but the sweetness got to me (I no longer can abide wheat beers.) Then I discovered my true love (don't tell my wife). IPA. I stared with a local brew pub with their "Swamp Fox IPA" and although I am in a craft brew wasteland I try to sample what I can find. Some of my favorites: Stone, Sweetwater, Westbrook (a local brewery) He'brew Rye DIPA, Sierra Nevada Torpedo. I also like SN Big Foot, Celebration, Hoptimum (as you see I don't stray to far from IPA's). I was in Maine last week and tried some IPA from Sea Dog and Sebago that I thought were good.

I don't know if it is just me, but beer from a can always tastes off ( I don't mean drinking from the can). I always buy glass but have been served for a can and it tastes different. I also like it warmer than most places serve; I let it sit for 5-10 minutes (if I can wait) before I drink.

I'm not an IPA fan and don't ever care if I become one.

I've beendrinking craft since 1996 and still can't manage to try every colorado brewed beer out there. In fact, I'm not even close. And I haven't bought a six pack of one beer in a while.

Noobdom is Awesome. Everything on your palate is like a new experience. After drinking Craft for 9 years or so it's sometimes hard to get "Wowed" by a beer or you become critical of things people like and don't like... a beer curmudgeon! I love people new to the craft scene, especially when they come into the bottle shop I work in cause they are SOOOO excited to try new stuff! Makes me happy!

In my early days, I didn't know that Chimay was not pronounced KAI-MAY until I had made an ass out of myself several times (since no one had been nice enough to correct me).

I think that until I try homebrewing at least a few times, I'll always feel like a noob.

Last year, I drain poured 2 full bottles of FBS because it had been in my refrigerator for a few months and thought they would be bad. Didnt even try them before I did it. Just figured since BMC went bad, why wouldn't that? If only I would have known about BA then....

Have never tried Mikiller's, Three Floyds, BCBS, Old and Young Pliny, and Cantillon.
I still like to drink beer from the bottle when I'm feeling lazy and don't feel like dishwashing...

    I'll never homebrew.
Why bother doing something when someone else is willing to do it with better ingredients, more knowledge, and to top it off I can support the economy through my purchase. I won't be able to make a BCBS anytime soon.

Started drinking "Craft" beer in 1989, attended my first GABF before I was 21 and still don't care if I havn't tried or seen most "Whales".

More importantly I still don't understand why everything has to be "Imperial"

I have never traded for a beer, so much of the top 100 is foreign to me. I also haven't had the Younger, even though it is available here, just a big hassle to get.
