I live fairly close, I just don't like their model....super marketing and awesome artwork, coupled with super high pricing and very expensive club options for what you get, coupled with only decent beer. Many of the beers are creative and unusual, but just decent and not worth even half of what they charge, maybe not even a third. If you like the experience of that place, great, but as far as the beer there are many better options, and none of those are priced as high.

About the same for me. They have a few decent beers, but nothing I'd go running back for too often. I'd make the trip again if I'm going to hit a couple places while I'm up there, but I wouldn't go just for them.

I had a great time there! The beers were very interesting. I was looking for experimenting and unusual paths though.
I absolutely loved Tenebris, their Barleywine, and thought Bone Raddler (DIPAS with chili peppers) was pretty good too. I'd personally skip the golden stout, though the couple next to me loved it. Lux (wheatwine), I thought was ok, and the same with Trendy T.R.I.P.A. (Triple IPA) and both saisons (Beet, which was surprisingly heavy/thick and not sweet, and Persona Non Grata). Zero and it's variants were interesting. I think base zero was best of the three. Didn't get to try or buy B/A/Y/S or its variants unfortunately. I'm very much looking forward to trying the bottles of Blvck Celebration and Fear Is Your Only God that I bought though.
Personally, I plan on going back soon. They are doing something different than other area breweries and I was impressed with what they had after only a year of being a brewery and having a constantly rotating group of offerings that aren't repeat brews.

The bar I sometimes moonlight at had an event with a few of their beers.. pretty decent.

That's the biggest thing for me. I've been there a few times now and I enjoy that they are trying different things. They aren't all winners but a lot of them are solid. I'll be back next time I go to VA for sure.

I've actually enjoyed everything I've tried from them, with one or two that really blew me away. That said, I'm not a fan of their marketing and schtick overall, and their pricing is pretty ridiculous

Well one thing is for sure, looks like everyone is on the same boat about their pricing lol.
