I'm trying to get my head around a trade (in which I have already sent my beer to the other BA) that is in the middle of completely going sideways. If you can help, please assign $ values on what you would consider fair for trade $ value. That will greatly help in giving me some perspective. Thanks!

How is it going sideways...didn't you both agree which beer you were sending each other before everything was sent?

First shipment was stolen by a UPS employee in which the other BA got a claim $

So the box you were set to receive was stolen? And the BA can't replace the beers that were in that box?

But now proposing making a $4$ trade with super-inflated values on his end. Just trying to make sure I'm not "the dick" here in asking for a re-valuation. To make sure I'm being fair to him, the beers I sent are also listed above

His package. He got the beer I shipped.

His beer to me was stolen and the other BA took the claim $ and owes me replacement beer

I'm using other more "colorful" expletives. This has been ongoing since before Christmas

So he got beer, also got the $ for your stolen beer, you have nothing? And he hasn't sent you the money or replacement beer?

Tag him here and lets hear his side of story.

Would love to. Just trying this tact to check myself before blowing him up publicly or with the Brothers. I'm 50+ trades in with 100% satisfaction over the past year and have never run into this before.

Why don't you have him send your beers back to you??? Seems to make the most sense to me, especially if you guys can't agree on what your beers are "worth". Unless.... he drank some of your beers already, which I'm guessing is the case and that's why you are getting the runaround. Its been almost (2) months. Tag him, I'm curious what they have to say on the matter. This isn't right.

If he doesn't equitably revalue his side of the trade, that's exactly what I'm going to ask for.... BTW - I sent 8 bottles of the same beer. Unless he has an insatiable appetite for this particular beer, I'm sure he has some left.

Wowza. Two months (60 days) and no resolution. These are definitely the types of BA's I want nothing to do with even if he comes in here and "explains" his actions. He needs to be tagged. Common courtesy would be sending your beers back without any questions or hesitations.

Unless they're easy shelf beers, beers should never ever be popped until all boxes and beers are safely in hand both ways. If he's a good guy he should return your beers, if he can't then you know he's not. I wouldn't settle for beers you don't want or would have never have traded for. He should return the money for your beer and send you a few for dragging this out since Xmas. If he can't or won't do either tag him here, so everyone knows what's up and who.
