From my experience JVR is super friendly. If you make it known that you're simply a beer lover and are not interested in hoarding and reselling his beer, then he'll treat you well.

I'll be there on wednesday! Going to de la Senne before or afterwards. If anyone wants to join? Around noon-2PM.

This is awesome, I love the idea of the homebrew contribution. If I went and had anything I thought was worthy I would absolutely love for someone of that status to taste my beer. Barring that, I'd bring the best thing I could from my area; a Tired Hands or Forest & Main bottle probably.

Does anyone know much about the new location? Can it be visited?

I've just returned from a trip to Brussels and all I can say about my visit to Cantillon is WOW. Being able to walk about the brewery during a brew day with virtually no areas off limits is something I won't soon forget.

We went on Thursday early afternoon and it was very quiet with just a hand full of other people taking the tour. Staff were extremely welcoming and were only too happy to answer our questions. Their passion is second to none. Before this trip sour beers were not my thing at all. I had enjoyed a sip here and there on occasion but my trip to Cantillon changed everything! Fou' Foune was one of the most beautiful beers I have had the pleasure of trying and I went on to try many more of their beers.

In Brussels we found availability limited and prices steep which I expected. Your best bet is to go to the brewery, be amazed and drink a great range of Cantillon in their home. Cannot wait to visit again.

    Cheers!

On the subject of getting beer from visitors, I did notice the staff on lunch enjoying a few American brews. Definitely spotted a Jai Alai being passed around which they seemed to enjoy. I'm sure they get a boat load of beers
