Advice on Receiving Shipment During Vacation

    I'm on the East coast and set up a trade with someone in Portland, OR for 3 Great Notion crowlers - all fruited beers. I let him know that I'll be going on vacation early Saturday morning for a week and that I'll need to get the shipment before then; however, we are going through Fedex and the estimate says Saturday By End of Day.

    Question - if these crowlers sit in a room temperature delivery room for a week (my apartment building's lobby/package room is airconditioned) should they be OK when I get back? For reference the crowlers are GN Blueberry Muffin and Luminous 03.

    My other thought would be to leave a key with a buddy and convince him to go pick them up for me when they arrive...but that's pretty annoying to ask of someone not into beer...

    In my opinion, ask the friend. Throw him a bone for the effort, and give yourself peace of mind.
