I will be driving through Atlanta on my way to NC. If I don't have much time, and really don't want to veer too far off 85, where should I stop that's guaranteed for me to find some Creature Comforts, Orpheus, etc,...? Thanks in advance for any info anyone might provide!

    Cheers BAs!!!

There's no where in Atlanta to guarantee Creature Comforts.

Best place off 85 if you go through Atlanta would be Greens on Buford Highway, you'll def find Orpheus, You'll just have to get lucky on the Creature Comforts.

Can you buy cans from the brewery now that the law changed? Or is it growler only?

You can purchase up to 72 oz. as a "souvenir" directly from a brewery as part of its tour. For some breweries such as Orpheus, this means you can take home a six pack. Other breweries are still in the process of implementing this change, and I have no idea how Creature Comforts is doing it.

For CC, you may want to check the website for "My Friend's Growler Shop" to see if tropicalia is pouring. It is right off 85/75 on Memorial Drive. Our growler shops are actually the best bet to find creature comforts. Above suggestions for Green's on Buford Highway are spot on for Orpheus. Greens did have 6ers of CC Athena when I went by Friday. Other options would be Hop City (also 60 growler taps) on Marietta St. or Tower Package on Piedmont Rd.

If you are going to stop by a brewery, check their websites for times their open. Most breweries are only open 2-3 hours on select days. CC is doing 72oz in 6ers or crowlers to go. Tuesday is "Curious Tuesday" and they have a special beer release every week. Last week was Automatic hoppy pale ale.

Also, are you in Asheville or close? Big group of us coming up this weekend for the White Angel release. I'm sure we could IP trade you some creature comforts if you miss out on your drive through.

We're stopping in Asheville for the night on the way to Charlotte. I'll be at Wicked Weed Monday night.
