Aecht Schlenkerla Bottle Age?

    Does anyone know how to tell the age of Aecht Schlenkerla bottles? I bought a few dusty ones today. I know they have a couple of years on them but it would be nice to tell how many.

    Unfortunately, Schlenkerla does not provide a bottling date for their beers.  I recall some BAs having success with contacting the brewery and using letter markings on the back label to find the bottling date, but there is no known way to decipher the code.

    Bottles in Canada clearly have 1 year bb dates on them (MM/YY). Why would they have different labels for the US? Craziness.
