I have no idea. Things need to be food safe.

So what did you get and why do you want to replace it? I like my SS wand w/stone. If I have any qualms on sanitation I just wrap it aluminum foil and bake it.

I pieced together my own out of the standard Whisper 40 aquarium pump, tubing, filter, and stone. I know people that have used the aquarium stones at the end instead of the steel oxygen brew stones. Only downside has been they are more temporary (like 2-3 uses). I saw this bubble disk and thought it looked the same but larger. I'm pretty new to the homebrewing aeration process....what is an SS Wand?

    Stainless Steel wand.

You can get stainless stones that attach to tubes or get ones that are attached to a metal wand. I got the all in one attachment when I was more paranoid about this kinda stuff. I can take it and put it in an oven and actually sterilize it. Or I could of bought the small stone end and replaced the tubing that feeds it when I felt that it was a good idea.

er. I'll get back to you later... f'n beer

The pumps take about 5 minutes and can get to 8 ppm, same as shaking the carboy. With pure O2 you can get to 10 ppm in one minute.

    Start with FAQ 27.
