Looks fine.. What mash temp ? Only thing I would change would be to bump the IBU up a little. Take the nugget you are tossin in late and add back with the bittering charge and maybe fwh it instead. A 90 min boil might be beneficial as well if ya can swing it but would be fine at 60. Take some of the dry hop and use in a hop stand at flame out would give ya more flavor and aroma ounce for for ounce versus the dry hop in my opinion. You've got 5 there to play with.

Probably mashing at 154. I like the FWH idea. 90 minute boil is totally doable.

    Thanks

Only thing weird about that recipe to me is that it uses Nugget, Simcoe, and Mosaic (the last one being a cross between the first two). Kind of like paying for gray paint when you already plan on adding white and black to the mix..... Take that with a grain of salt though, considering I've been guilty of mixing Mosaic and Simcoe in the same batch myself with fantastic results.

That's exactly why I chose it! I don't have any experience with Mosaic (hence the thread), but I'm working off the assumption that it's qualities aren't as straightforward as your analogy. I'd imagine that Mosaic isn't necessarily a perfect balance of Nugget/Simcoe from an aroma/flavor perspective (even though genetically it's A+B=C).

Simcoe and Mosaic are great together. I like to pair it with something more piney and dank to balance it though, like Chinook or Columbus myself. Nugget could work great though.

I'd shoot for a lower mash temp myself.. no higher than 152, as you don't want the beer to be too cloying. Drier the better for the DIPA.
