Anyone have any experience with aging a gose? I assume it's similar to a sour but I've never had an aged gose so I thought I'd ask before I put this bottle away.

I aged a Westbrook Gose for 6 months once. The salt seemed to decline and the sour seemed to kick up.

Would you say the beer got better with time?

To me it did, sure. But I love the sour. That's the only gose I'd probably feel comfortable aging though.

Sat on a bottle of Nightshift Harborside for about 9 months. Still really tart and the minerally/briney notes from the oysters seemed to be more pronounced. A more traditional/less sour gose may not hold up to well if cellared, but this bottle was just as good as fresh.
